Access to Benefits Assistance (A2BA) is designed to keep your information on your own device. We built it this way on purpose.

Your answers stay on your device

Everything you type into A2BA — your eligibility answers, your PIP1 details, your bank details — is saved only in your web browser, on this device. It is never sent to our servers. We cannot see it, and we cannot recover it for you.

To keep a backup, or to continue on another device, you can download a copy from the home page (you can password-protect it) and upload it again later. Because the data is only ever in your hands, please keep any backup somewhere safe.

Do we use cookies?

We do not use cookies to track you. Your answers are stored using your browser’s local storage, which stays on your device and is not sent to us. See our cookies page for detail.

Analytics

We measure how the site is used with Umami — privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that we host ourselves. It collects only aggregate information (such as page views), does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect anything that identifies you.

Accounts and signing in

You can use A2BA without an account. If, in future, you choose to sign in with your Tessolari account, that sign-in is handled by Tessolari and only tells us who you are (your name and email). Your form answers would still stay on your device. You can use an anonymous email (for example Apple’s Hide My Email or addy.io) and a name that is not your real name.

Your control

Your data is yours. You can delete everything at any time using “Delete my saved answers” on the home page, or by clearing your browser’s data for this site.
